ABOUT ME

My name is Jessica - sister, daughter, wife, and nurse. Above all, I'm a child of God, redeemed from a broken life by the most gracious King. Guided by the Spirit, I strive to bear the image of my Father, by following in the footsteps of his Son Jesus Christ, who is God in the flesh.

I am a native to Kansas City, and yes I love barbeque. I'm adoptive mama to Axel (woof) and Lola (meowww), and you're sure to meet them if you keep up with my blogging/vlogging. My husband Austin is the most wonderful and inspirational man I know, and we are surrounded by a great community of friends, family and brothers and sisters from our church.

As a couple, we've spent a lot of time ministering to and fellowshipping with other couples, as well as serving our church, local youth and KC's homeless community! But I have recently been driven by a passion to disciple other believers, near and far, through writing. My hope is that you'll take a walk with me, day-by-day, reflecting on our experiences in the light of Scripture and discerning how to best follow Him. I can't wait to get to know you and grow together!
