Mazur Manor: New Homeowner Fails

1) Flames Soaring (May 29th)

We may have gotten a little excited about our massive fire pit and forgotten about the tree and barn in very close proximity. It took a little time, but Austin finally got the flames to tame down and the tree and barn are still standing! Phew.

We just like living on the edge is all... :)

3) Oops! Locked Out (August 22nd)

Actually... though Austin is pictured here climbing through our pantry window (the only opening window that wasn't locked), that's only because I'm the one who take the pictures... and because he wasn't around when I locked myself out.

I was lucky and Austin had left his short ladder at home. I climbed up and through our laundry room windows, safely onto the counter top and went on about my day.

Clearly we didn't take measure to prevent this in the future though...

2) Booty Bump (September 6th)

One fine day in September, we had our lovely friend Emily over to make s'mores over our little camp fire. It was a beautiful summer-fall evening, with just enough breeze for comfort.

Unfortunately the breeze continued in our bedroom once we went inside. I believe Austin was emphatically telling a story, when suddenly his big ole booty bumped out our window pane.

I suppose it just goes to show how old and in need of replacement those windows are... We'll get around to it!
