Mazur Manor: Sprucing Up!

During the end of August, Austin began collecting stone from various places throughout the KC area. He found ad, after ad, on Craigslist and Facebook, announcing "FREE ROCK" and "IF YOU CAN HAUL IT, YOU CAN HAVE IT!"

So, naturally, what did Austin do?

He decided. I must have it. I will haul it.

The stone did come in handy though. As you can see, we've had a bit of an eyesore retaining the earth of the upper tier of our land. He and his brother Bryan carried enough stone to not only strengthen that barrier, but also to give it a unique, beachy, and inexpensive new look!

I even stole a wheelbarrow full for my own little projects. After he completed the retention wall in early September, I hid some away before we started on the barn foundation. These lower projects were completed in October and kept a little color on the property as the leaves were falling from the trees!
